Went to living greens very early in the morning to have vegetarian food. Im glad they have jus opened for lunch.

It was pretty stuffy and warm as the air-con has just been switched on. I ordered the baked brown rice as it was recommended. It comes with a side salad and a mushrm soup.

The soup arrive shortly and the brown rice came next. The mushroom soup is made frm purely mushroom and it is very light, unlike those that has added flour to make it starchy.

Baked brown rice has a layer of '' cheese'' which is made from arrowroot. It was very delicious. I thought it resembles tempeh but they told me it was made from arrowroot. Quite interesting!

The rice has a mixture of veggies - corn, mixed veg, mushrooms, soy protein. It was baked with a some light herbs and topped with the '' cheese''. The salad consists of some alfafa sprouts and beetroots. It was crunchy & the dressing is good.

Service here is very warm and friendly. They would make you feel very comfortable and the owner even offered me a cup of jap green tea.

After lunch, i shopped ard marina sq and bought some baos frm '' Bao Today'' and made my way to lib @ esplanade. I have not been to the lib there and it was an eye-opening for me. The lib is quite small- unlike other lib, this lib has abt 90% audio visual discs for loan. I borrowed a horror +comedy show and it was quite entertaining. I think i shld borrow more of these.
