A vegetarian cafe is located @ ang mo kio ave 3.
I found out this cafe when surfing HGW.
The resturant ,, Mai zi su'' occupies 2 shops, to cater to more customers especially when the 1st and 15th lunar month.
They have vegetarian ''tze char'', daily sets, western meals and some appetitizers.
The daily set for wednesday: brown rice with mixed salad. ($4).
The brown rice set comes allong with abowl of brown rice, xiaobaocai, mixed salads and a portion of mock fish with beancurd. Serving is quite big, definately can make you full. The red is not too soft and mushy, i like the texture. Xiaobaicai is blanched and topped with some sauce, salad is served with 1000island dressing and the mock fish taste quite ordinary. I like the simplicity of the food and service here is generally quite ok. They even have ''die-hard'' fans who dine here almost everyday.
After lunch, i went to ang lib. The lib is not very big(bigger than cck) but books very little and magazines, pathetic! I think i'll visit cck lib ore often.
