My first time having Hakka Lei Cha.
It was at the popular lei cha stall located at heylang lor 17.
They have 2 types of lei cha- brown rice/ plain rice.

The whole bowl of lei cha consist of crispy ikan bilis, tau kwa, long beans, cabbage, ''ma ni veg'' with peanuts and raddish. It was served with a greenish and awful looking ''soup'', which is made of herbs and green tea. You would have to pour the soup over the leicha to soak and enjoy it.

It's my first time having leicha. I tried a little of the ''soup'' and felt naseating. It taste a little weird but after a few mouthful, it taste good, especially with the heaps of veggies and brown rice. The veggies are chopped till very fine and it's very fresh. I asked the lady boss what did she used to cook the greenish ''soup'' and she told me it was some herbs. I think it's more than that, trade secret.

I recommend this leicha stall to those who loves thunder tea rice.
