Today marks the chinese lunar month of august.
Finally the hungry ghost festival is over!
Tmr would be hari raya pusa den followed by deepavali and finally x'mas!
I visited isetan as there is a jap fair held there
There were so much things to buy.
Taiwan pomelo, jap sweet potatoes, mont blanc, green tea... mooncakes!
Im sick & tired of looking @ mooncakes. They are more or less the same right???
I bought 2 jap sweet potatoes, 1 sweet potato pudding and a jap fish.
I want the jap pork but it's too exp. I think i might try the fishcake which looks so huge ($7 each).
Lunch was @ Lingzhi vegetarian restaurant.
Lingzhi is one of Tung Lok group thus the food served would be of certain standard.
The interior is not very huge. It's very classy and i like the atmosphere there.
A few tables were being reserved thus i cannot choose the seats.
I ordered:
1X fried brown rice with mixed greens
1X salad consisting of jellyfish, carrots , cucumbers and some fried lotus roots.
1X pot of pu'er tea
The salad was served first and the serving is definately huge for 1 person. Recommended for sharing. Thinly sliced carrots, cucmbers and basil leaves were mixed with sweet and sour sauce, topped with crunchy jellyfish and peanuts. I like the sauce as it is quite appetising and the fried lotus roots were crunchy & not oily.
Fried brown rice comes with a big serving too. There were lots of vegetables such as carrots, long beans, spring onions, capsicums...etc. I like the rice being not too oily and the chewy texture of the brown rice still remains. The veggies were crunchy and i could easily finish 2 bowls of this.
Total damage for 1 person :$34 ++
Servings were huge so price is quite resonable. You can do a take-away if you cannot finish the food. Service is attentive here. They would replenish your tea accordingly.
After lunch, i walked around orchard and saw lots of F1 mechandise and the car models. Snapped some photos...
