Went joo chiat with dad n uncle hua dong.
Initially i wanted to go home after my shopping there since im waiting for my microwave oven to be delivered.
I saw some new collections frm obolo thus i made my way there. I had the verrine caprice(apricot-mango glee, hazelnut milk choc crunch,layers of genoise choc n finished with bitter-sweet chocolate). Sounds exciting right? They have several new collections of verrines and entremets. I find that obolo's desserts tend to have funny combination and have sourish taste. Their cheesecakes are good though.
Had a sweet and sour brinjal frm Tak sek hei(bamboo noodles house). They specialise in bamboo noodles and it's made by using a wooden plank.
After which, i visit Indulgence. I wanted to get the mashmallows but it's not available. I saw 2 tartlets- chocolate hazelnut and lemon meringue. The friendly guy there offered me a few choc hazelnut tartlet as a sample.
I decided to walk back to look for dad since it's quite early. They are sitting @ the coffeeshop there n lily is chatting with them. I followed lily to her salon and we chat non-stop. She's an expert in beauty and massage n other stuffs. She worked as a physician back in china. Now, she had to work as a leg massager here in s'pore.
Anyway, when we finally decided to go home, not long after, the microwave oven was delivered. Luckily.... if not i have to made thousand of phone calls again!
