I totally forgot that the lib in singapore would be closed from 10am-2pm for staff meeting. I made a wasted trip to esplanade. If i knew it earlier, i would have gone to aunt's house.

Lunch was at cedele(great world city). This is one of the busiest outlet(besides wheelock place). I wanted to have something light and simple thus i ordered the '' Jus greens'' salad. It comes with a bed of mesclun salad, cherry tomatoes and herb croutons. I have it with the honey paparika dressing.

The food was served less than 5 mins. They are really efficent despite it to be quite busy. The croutons are really crispy and full of flavour. The salad is fresh and goes well with the dressing.

The svc here is great. They are fast and efficent and serve you with a friendly smile.

Heavy rain today.
It was still sunny when i step into genesis.
However, it started to rain heavily while i was still enjoying my claypot rice.

The rice, warm and fluffy. It was especially suitable for this rainy weather.
I like the charred/ '' cao ta'' bottom. The rice taste so fragrant with the special sauce. The mushroom was well-braised. I think they must have braised it for hours. Some veggies and carrots to finish it off. The serving is jus nice for one person.

I like genesis. The people is good as they pay attention to little details and the food is full of love and creative. However, i think the svc here needs some imrpovement. The chinese lady who served me doesnt seem willing to serve me. She is always busy attending to other things and sometimes pull a sulky face.

Had lunch @ Create a healthy lifestyle cafe.
The menu of the day : Baked cheese rice wth soup/ pumpkin soup with salad and sandwich. I ordered the cheese baked rice and and side salad.

The special thing is that u can order from one cafe and sit at the other cafe. The staff would bring the food over to you. Both cafes are owned by the same boss.
The cheese baked rice, jus like the typical baked rice. However, it's brown rice with mixed veggies instead of normal white rice. The rice is served in a casserole, pipping hot and the cheese jus melts in your mouth. Please have this eaten warm as it would not be nice if it turns cold.

Side salad includes some lettuce, alfafa sprouts, beetroots and carrots served n a special mayonnaise dressing(they blend it themself).

After lunch, i went back to clementi campus to settle some issues. Met up with dad, ms deon & section head. We had a close down discussion and i stood firm in my decision- not to carry on with the attachment. My dad is supportive of my decision as he doesnt really care abt what i do as long as it is not illegal. Mr leonard n ms deon explained the consequences and persuaded me. However, my decision is final. Dad n i signed on the letter it's settled. It's a load off my back. I can now relax and wait for my results. Im going to learn something and make full use of this long holidays.

maths paper 2 later.
I wonder what will come out later.
Transformations, vectors, graphs or geometry?
I hope it would be cumulative freq graph cos im quite expert at it.
Transformations- Die! dunno shear and rotation.
Anyway, i hope paper 2 would be an easy one.
Im pining all my hopes.

Taste of natural- The food is jus alright.
They used too much salsa, menu is the same old one and they seemed to prepare food using lots of gravy.

I ordered a salad wth eggplants. It comes with some achar(w/out chilli), raw shredded veggies and the eggplants. It is served with tomato salsa dressing and a little mayonnaise. My verdict too sour. I didnt like that.

O levels maths paper 2 completed.
I didnt do well... i really have no idea what the question is asking.
Alot of tough questions.
This is one of the toughest paper that i have taken.
Pay hard!

O levels maths papaer later
Yet im here blogging.
Wish myself luck.

I wanted to have lunch at galbiati when i reach there, it was closed.
I realised that they are open from mon- sun except tue.
What a conincidence! Sheer luck?
Thus i walk past an organic store: Sunny choice.
I went in to have a look. Oh there are selling organic stuffs and some food as well.
They have brown rice set, sandwiches and desserts.

I ordered a salad with grilled eggplants. The salad was prepared on the spot. There were sliced cabbage, carrots, turnip, bean sprouts, wolfberries, cashnew nuts and my grilled eggplants. It was serving in an olive-vinegrtte dressing. They sprout the bean sprouts on their own thus u can even see the green beans on the sprout itself.

Svc here is friendly but the place is rather quiet and wonder how they are going to sustain their biz.

O levels maths paper 1 jus finish. It was relatively quite ok. Jus a bit of calculations here n there. I hate prism! There's two qns on prism n i left it blank. I hope there would not be any more prism diagram in tmr's paper!

It's finally the o levels maths paper tmr
Im ready to take it!
Im gonna score for it.
I asked mr yeo jus nw, he told me based on his experience, i would get probably a B4 OR a B3. If i really get a b4, i would jump for joy and treat him. Never ever in my sec sch yrs i would get a b4 in maths. He said that they would be very lenient to private candidates. I hoped what i have learnt would come out tmr. I wanna get a good grade and get into my fav course in poly nxt yr!

I had my lunch at 7 sensations. It so happens that i would dine there very mon. The asian brown rice platter doesnt sound good to me '' braised/ stew veggies''. I decided to order the mixed korean brown rice( stone pot rice).

The rice was served not too long, in a stone pot, pipping hot. There were brown rice, xiao bai cai and some mock mushrooms top on it. Everything was perfect except the mock mushrooms. It was jus too salty. I think they must have added lots of salt in it. The rice were one of the best brown rice that i have tried so far(imo) . It's brown rice mxed with other ingredients like some other mixed grains and they were a little chewy yet so fragrant.

I would come back again, perhaps to try the mango & avacado salad.

I believe that cedele's food are made from organic ingredients.
The outlet at takashimaya is opened not too long ago and i had my brunch here.
There are new flavours of cupcakes being launch.
What makes this outlet special is the variation of menu. It differs from other outlets.

I was being served by the manager and i decide on what to order. I ordered the ultimate grilled veggies( a salad). The service staff does not seem too happy to serve me and she told me the portion is jus enough for one person.

The salad arrived shortly, very efficient. I was taken aback as the serving was quite huge. The salad was lovely and smell great. There were lots of ingredients in it- grilled portobello mushroom(huge), eggplant, sweet potato cake, capsicum, mushrooms in a bed of garden greens with olives and croutons. It was served in a vinegrette balsamic dressing and topped with generous sunflower seeds, sesame seeds and pinenuts.

My fav of the above would be the grilled mushrooms. They were lightly seasoned and grilled to perfection. The other ingredients taste great as well. One thing that i realised is the generous amt of olive oil being used. This result in my lips full of oil after every bite. Neverthless, i still like the ''oily'' effect. *Olive is good for health.

I do not take pinenuts and sunflower seeds so i carefully pick out one by one. I know they are good for health but i do not the nutty texture.

Cedele's food are healthy, organic and delicious. I would definately come back again!

HAD lunch @ nutihub organic fusion cafe.
They changed their menu daily and the brown rice sets are available daily with different types of veggies and brown rice.
The menu for today: Lor mai kai brown rice set.

The lor mai kai is actually brown rice cooked with lily bulbs, the texture is the same as the real lor mai kai, jus without any meat in it. It was a little sticky and chewy, i thought i was eating glutinous rice.

The side veggies include boiled veggie,a salad and stir-fried mushrooms. The dressing for the salad is qute refreshing and love the mushrooms. They were cooked wth wolfberry sauce. I thought the red colour is chilli but it's actually wolfberry sauce. Quite interesting.

Svc is friendly here. However, i feel that the location wasnt very ideal so it's located @ the basement of cuppage plaza.

After lunch, i went to the okinawan fair @ Istean to get some jap stuffs then walked to takashimaya. Takashimaya is havng the Hokkaido fair. The ramen stall is havng a long q. I think it's pretty similar to the previous hokkaido fair held @ isetan. I bought some seasonal fsh fillets @ an affordable price. I shall go again next sat.

I do not want to attend anymore interviews.
I hate working in the hotel.
I have other plans in mind.

I wanted to try the mixed korean rice/ thunder tea rice @ my vegetarian way.
It was the menu of the day but however, it was not available on every fri. They rotate it once every 2-3 wks and thus the hakka lei cha is only available next fri( 30/10/09). The menu of the day: brown rice set, brown rice porridge and spaghetti mee rebus.

I had the brown rice set($4) which consists of a big bowl of brown rice, salad, mustard greens and potatoes( i opted for cabbage). One thing i feel that they really cut down the usage of salt in their food. The veggies were a little bland. Even the dressing for the salad is bland. Well, that's healthy.

Compared to other stalls there(yong tau foo, fried rice and jap cuisine), their business is not really that good. The other stalls have longer qs. I think ppl are not so conscious abt healthy food but delicious food.

I decided to sign up a course @ spatec.
This is to grant my dad's wish and also to prove myself that i can accomplish something. I shall find out more abt the courses available.

Lunch was @ Living greenss, one of my fav vegetarian restaurant.
Today's menu: tumeric brown rice set, salad udon, wakame soba soup, living greens burger...cant rmb the rest. Different brown rice set are served everyday so we would not get bored of eating the same old brown rice. I wanted to try the lasagne which was highly recommended. It does not contain any cheese/ pasta sheets. It's made of arrowroot powder, mushrooms, capsicums and fresh herbs and spices. Served alongside is a small salad. I also ordered the tumeric brown rice( separate charge) to go with it.

The lasagne, without pasta sheets were good. The top layer were made of arrowroot powder, which replaced cheese. The following layers were slices of baked aubergine(eggplants) which were well-grilled, mushrooms and tender capsicums. I feel that they have used too much slices of aubergine, which makes the dish a little heavy and i feel a little ''sick'' after eating 1/2 of the lasagne. Well, the dish is still not bad after all.

The tumeric rice scored better than the lasagne(in my opinion). Every grain of rice is infused with the aroma of tumeric and the yellowish colour makes it quite appealing. It is neither too soggy or hard.

Svc here is commendable. The staff are friendly people. They will take time to explain the dishes to you.

After lunch, i went back to the hotel to get my clearance done. I had to go to every dept to get them to sign the clearance form. I was charged for the shoes. As i have worked less than 3 months, i would have to pay for the shoes which cost $13.80. Well, to avoid further dispute/problems, i paid for it. After which i was asked if i was paid working for 3 days. Actually, i dun mind if i have no pay but they insisted to make things clear so they checked and i waited. I saw sharifah n vickki outside the payroll office and chat with them. I wish them all the best working in the hotel. I would never return again!

Im vexed!
Next wk is the 'o'levels exam yet the sch is giving me lots of problems.
I wanna concentrate on this exam and hope they would stop pestering me non-stop.
I noe it would be bad news when the phone rang. Im mentally prepared.
Im not upset or anything as i knew it was my mistake.
Jus wanna settle it once and for all.
Tmr would be going back to the hotel and return my things.

Lunch was @ Yogi house.
I read some articles abt them having millet salad and tofu cheese salad.
However, both items were not available today.
The menu of the day would be brown rice set, buckwheat noodle soup, salad, mixed black beans noodles. The staff recommended the black bean with noodles and it comes with lots of boiled caixin, shredded carrots, mushrooms and black bean sauce. Black beans are normally quite salty but they reduce the black beans and the taste is jus fine for me. I love mushrooms so the mushrooms were great. The staff told me they used wholemeal noodles but the texture is so smooth, more of like la mian. WHEN I finish the noodles, i asked the staff whether the noodle is available on sale and she pointed to me the ''La mian'' that is on the shelf. I was fooled! It was ordinary la mian and perhaps jus the organic type. Well, the meal was still satisfying.

Dad told me abt foot reflexology and massage.
He encouraged me to learn @ spatec as it's very cheap and i can get a cert.
I noe it's good and i can be a lady boss if i open a shop.
However, things are not so simple as he thought.
First and foremost, i need to pass my 'o'levels maths- my first piority!
After dat, i can do anything i want.

I saw lili @ bugis. She is having drinks with her friends and she called me.
We chat for a while, she gave me some advice. Thx for that.
After which i went to have lunch @ Create healthy lifestyle cafe.

Im a little puzzled why they have to open two shops separately.
They served the same food yet have to locate in two places.
Tuesday menu : Hakka Lei cha, organic cold soba noodles, sushi rolls, brown rice set...etc.
I had the brown rice set ($5.50). It comes with a bowl of mixed grains brown rice, boiled asparagus and mushrooms, curry eggplants, boiled veggies and a mixed salad which i opted for and a soup. Serving is just enough for one person.

The rice is a little mushy but i like the rice which has different grains in it.
The asparagus and mushroom is good, crunchy and taste light. It's pretty uncommon to find asparagus in food outlets as they are a little more ex.
The curry eggplants was cooked in a tomato and curry gravy and served with some tomatoes. The eggplants taste a little weird so i didnt really like it.
The salad dressing looks creamy but it's very light and has a lemony taste.

Svc here is quite ok, jus enjoy the food.

After lunch, i went to sts to see jeffry. Talked to him and tears dropped down my cheeks. I know im at fault and im trying to make amends. I was told to wait for katya but after waiting for abt 1/2 hr, jeffry told me she's busy and would only be available after 4pm. Im not gonna wait so i leave my hp number and left. They said they will call me but i doubt so. Anyway, i noe it's gonna be bad news so better pray hard.

very bad luck today.
While i was having my tuition, the hr dept called and said that i didnt turned up for work for 3 days and wanna terminate my work. I was anxious of course. I noe im in the worng as i did not inform them that i am taking a 2 wks leave jus to chiong for my 'o's. I sent in an email to the Assistant manager but that was his personal email and he didnt check.... everything was so terrible. I may fail this course and im afraid to tell my parents abt it. To me, the 'o's is more important than anything but i seriously wanna get that bloody certificate whether or not, it's 1.5 yrs of effort. I shall go down tmr and apologise to the assistant manager and see what can i do.

Had lunch @ genesis vegetarian restuarant.
The food there is fabulous! They have different menu everyday and the menu of the day that caught my attention is the kampung rice. It comes with a bowl of garlic brown rice, kangkong, tau kwa, long beans , ikan bilis made from mushrooms special sauce. I like the garlic brown rice as it's very fragrant, with shreds of kaffir lime leaves and garlic bits. The kangkong and long beans are boiled so it's pretty 'bland'. I did not try the long beans as it was pretty hard. The mushrooms were good, great for snack too.

Svc here is good as the owner would take time to explain the different dishes to you. Come and enjoy the organic and wholesome food @ Genesis!

Read a blog abt vegetARIAn food and they introduced su man yuan @ suntec food republic.

Today is the first lunar month of sept thus i had vegetarian food @ su man yuan.
Brown rice and 4 side dishes @ $4.
The brown rice is a little hard, not fluffy.
The veggies were quite ok... actually is quite tasty.
I like the stew mushroom, very chewy.
The anutie is quite friendly.

Happy deepavali to all.
Today is deepavali and also a PH thus alot of places seemed to be closed.
I made my way down to little india and many shops are closed.

I went to the chinese and indian temple to pray and den went for lunch.
I wanted to have my lunch @ Create a Healthy lifestyle cafe but it was closed. I went there once and didnt try any of their food. I guess it's fate that i wont get to try their food.

Since many shops are closed, i simply jus have my lunch @ Luo han vegetarian( fu lu shou complex). Xinghua vegetarian food is located jus opposite and it's a little difficult to a decision. Well, i jus went into to Luohan vegetarian instead.

They serve economical mixed rice and some tze char dishes. I had brown rice and some veggies. The rice taste a little hard and the veggies were quite ok, not that oily and salty. 3 veggies and rice = $3.50, IT'S QUITE WORTH IT.

After lunch, i went to isetan, they are having the 'OKINAWA jap' fair.
It starts on the 15 oct-25 oct. Lots of stuffs there.
I bought the jap sweet potato that is has purple flesh, a sponge cake made from brown sugar(AGARASA), jap tofu and fish tempura. Of course there are other interesting stuffs such as braised pork...etc. I will get it next wk as i have bought quite alot of things.

Had lunch at New green pasture (fu lu shou level 4)
The menu here is quite extensive but some of the dishes are only available on certain days. The soba salad is very popular here but i have not tried it yet.
I ordered the daily brown rice set($7) as i was undecided of what to order.

The daily brown rice set comes with a bowl of red brown rice, brocolli and cauliflower, a side salad and 'egg' made frm tau kwa. The rice is a little mushy and i think too much water is added. I like the stir-fried brocolli and cauliflower as it comes with carrots, taukee and a pc of sweet corn. The sauce has a herbal taste too. Side salad is refreshing and i think they add a few pieces of plum to make it a little more appetitising. The ''egg' taste normal.

You can help youself to the daily soup here. The auntie here seems a little proud and not that friendly. Who cares abt her attitude as long as the food is delicious.
